Our Story

YogAim was born from a shared passion for art, philosophy, and the timeless wisdom of ancient spiritual traditions.

Created by Federico and Ella, YogAim brings together two seemingly different worlds: the precision of science and craftsmanship, and the contemplative depth of yoga and Indian philosophy.

Federico is an astronomer, musician, and silversmith. Ella is a yoga teacher with over twenty years of experience and a graduate student specializing in Indian philosophy and Sanskrit.

Together, we explore the meeting point between matter and consciousness, form and meaning, beauty and awareness.

What began as a creative collaboration has grown alongside our family and our two children, Iyar and Lyrika.

For us, YogAim is more than a jewelry collection. It is an ongoing expression of our curiosity, our practice, and our understanding of life.

Ancient Wisdom, Living Inspiration

Our designs draw inspiration from the philosophical traditions of India, including Advaita Vedānta, Sāṃkhya, Tantra, Buddhism, and the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali.

These traditions explore questions that remain as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago:

Who am I?
What is consciousness?
What is the nature of reality?
How can we live with greater awareness, freedom, and compassion?

We believe ancient wisdom is not something confined to books, temples, or the distant past.

Wisdom is alive. It unfolds through the way we think, speak, act, and experience the world.

Each YogAim creation carries a fragment of this wisdom, transformed into a simple, elegant symbol that can accompany us through everyday life.

Why Sanskrit?

Sanskrit holds a special place in our work.

As the language of many foundational texts of yoga and Indian philosophy, Sanskrit carries a remarkable philosophical and spiritual heritage.

But our fascination with Sanskrit goes beyond its beauty and ancient origins.

In Hindu traditions, speech itself is personified as the goddess Vāc — the sacred power of language and expression.

This beautiful image invites us to reflect on the relationship between language, thought, and reality.

The words we choose shape the stories we tell ourselves. The sounds we utter influence our experience. The direction of our attention shapes our understanding of the world.

In this sense, language is not merely a tool for describing reality. It also participates in the way we experience and give meaning to it.
