THE GAYATRI MANTRA
Origin: Rig Veda 3.62.10
ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः
तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं
भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि
धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्
Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ
Tat savitur vareṇyaṃ
Bhargo devasya dhīmahi
Dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt
A poetic interpretation:
"We contemplate the divine radiance of Savitṛ. May that light illuminate and guide our understanding."
The opening invocation, Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ, traditionally accompanies the Vedic verse in many forms of recitation.
THE MEANING BEHIND THE MANTRA
The Gayatri Mantra is traditionally understood as an invocation of the divine light associated with Savitṛ, the Vedic solar deity.
Its message extends beyond the physical sun.
Just as sunlight reveals the world around us, the light of wisdom reveals what may otherwise remain hidden within our own understanding.
The mantra is a prayer for the awakening of our intellectual and spiritual faculties — an invitation to cultivate clarity, discernment, and a deeper recognition of truth.

Our larger statement version of the two-part Gayatri Mantra pendant.
The silver-toned outer circle is engraved with Sanskrit lettering and paired with a golden lotus-inspired yantra suspended within its open center.

A delicate circular pendant inspired by sacred geometry and the symbolism of Om.
At its center appears the Sanskrit symbol ॐ (Oṃ), surrounded by intersecting triangles and lotus-inspired forms.
In Indian spiritual traditions, Om is regarded as a sacred syllable associated with ultimate reality, consciousness, and the primordial vibration of existence.
